Successor to the Galaxy M31
The Samsung Galaxy M32 is finally coming to Germany.
The M series from Samsung traditionally comes with a particularly large battery. With the Samsung Galaxy M32, another model makes it to Germany.
Samsung currently tops the list of smartphones with the best battery with an M series model. This is not surprising, because the focus in this series is on endurance. The M family is now growing in Germany: With the Samsung Galaxy M32, a device that has been on the shelves in India for a long time has been launched. It is the direct successor to the Galaxy M31 and comes with some improvements – but users also have to accept compromises.
Better display – worse camera
The Galaxy M32 has a 6.4-inch AMOLED display – unlike the M31, it has a screen refresh rate of 90 Hertz. This makes animations smoother, among other things. Otherwise, not much has changed in the design: only the fingerprint sensor slides on the side of the device. The camera of the Galaxy M32 is a step backwards. Compared to its predecessor, Samsung saves on the macro camera and the depth sensor. Instead of the previous 5 megapixels (MP), there are only 2 MP – the other lenses are not affected. Samsung sticks with a main camera with 34 MP and an ultra-wide-angle lens with 8 MP. The 4K function for video recordings has also been canceled. The front camera with 20 MP is installed on the front. In the version for Europe, a Helio G80 from MediaTek works with 6 gigabytes (GB) of working memory (RAM). 128 GB of internal memory is available for apps, photos and other files – it can be expanded by 1 terabyte with a memory card. The main focus is on the built-in battery: At 5,000 mAh, it is slightly smaller in Europe than in India. A 25 watt power supply unit is included in the package.
