Paramount Plus: Start in other countries
According to Kelly Day, they looked at other markets and recognized the potential of reaching many people in different places. The international opportunities for streaming are enormous. However, this has not yet been officially confirmed. Because of this, there is no date for the start of Germany so far.
What’s on Paramount Plus?
According to Paramount, the streaming service features more than 30,000 series episodes and films from CBS, Comedy Central, MTV, Nickelodeon and Paramount Pictures. The company holds a variety of popular licenses, including Star Trek. Series such as “The Twilight Zone”, “Tell me a Story” and “Lioness” are also available for download. Kelly Day said in an interview that there are country-specific program differences. For example, there will be local productions that are only available in a certain region. Much of the company’s content is currently running in this country with competitors such as Amazon Prime Video and Netflix. In the medium term, however, the films and series should end up exclusively at Paramount Plus.
