BIn the beautiful summer weather, many people go out into the countryside to organize extensive barbecues with freshly sizzled steaks, grilled sausages or delicious grilled vegetables. Grill is not the same, however Grill. There are different types and shapes such as charcoal, electric, gas or contact grills. Each grate gives the grilled food its own note. Lidl has various grills on offer in its online shop and from time to time in the branches. COMPUTER BILD clarifies whether there are real price breakers among the models. Lidl grills: good to know

Many grill fans swear by the good old charcoal grill. The charcoal gives the grilled an incomparable aroma. The “GW 84 B1” is a simple charcoal grill cart with a few extras for 22.41 euros. The sheet steel model has a windbreak and a grill area of 48.5×28.5 centimeters. The enamelled fire bowl almost 1 kilogram of charcoal. So that nothing burns, the chrome-plated grill grate can be adjusted five times in height with removable handles. The side shelf with three cutlery hooks and the space under the grill offer space for sausages, beer to deglaze and the grill tongs. Cheers: even a bottle opener is integrated. Thanks to two wheels and a handle, the grill cart is easy to transport. The scope of delivery also includes a 70-centimeter grill skewer with a wooden handle and two grilled food clips.
Gas grill at Lidl: grill quickly
Just like electric grills, gas grills hardly develop any smoke when grilling. The models also heat up very quickly. Lidl has a 3-burner gas grill from Tepro in stock for 242.72 euros in its online shop. The model has four cooking zones and a stainless steel warming rack. The gas supply can be precisely adjusted using three rotary controls with LED control light. The Lidl gas grill starts reliably thanks to the piezo ignition system. The total output is 14.4 kilowatts. For optimal heat development, the device has a double-walled stainless steel hood with a thermometer. On the sides there are accesses for a grill thermometer probe. The large 63.5×42-centimeter grill area consists of two stainless steel grids. Fat & Co. land in a drip tray. A side shelf, a bottle opener with collecting container and three grill cutlery hooks further characterize the Tepro. With the four wheels, two of which can be locked, the grill cart is very flexible.
Lidl contact grill: grilled evenly
An even grill result can be achieved with a contact grill. Lidl has a Silvercrest model for 33.94 euros in its online shop. The SKGE 2000 C3 grills low-fat meat, fish and vegetables on an area of 29×26 centimeters. The model is also suitable for toasting sandwich and panini bread. The power consumption is specified as 2,000 watts and the thermostat allows infinitely variable temperature regulation. Practical: the upper grill plate can be adjusted to five different heights and opened up to 180 degrees. Excess roast fat collects in the fat drip tray. Thanks to the non-stick coating, the grilled food does not stick and the removable plates can be easily cleaned after use. With dimensions of 36.5×15.5×35.7 centimeters, the Silvercrest contact grill is still quite compact. Ten recipe suggestions and a cleaning scraper are included as accessories.
