Asphalt Nitro 2 is set to launch soon and Gameloft is promising an exhilarating racing experience for its players. A post on the Gameloft website announced the release of Asphalt Nitro 2, along with details regarding the game, including its compatibility with low-end devices.
Sequel to the classic Asphalt Nitro
The game succeeds Asphalt Nitro, the popular racing game released in 2015 with more than 50 million downloads on Google Play Store alone. It is going to be in a compact file package weighing in at approximately 50 MB, something which Gameloft is proud of. This will also allow Asphalt Nitro 2 to be more accessible and well-run on low-end devices.
The game is going to have good-looking graphics, 20 licensed supercars including cars from brands like Lamborghini, Buggati, and Ferrari, 4 arcade game modes (4 less than the game’s prequel, Asphalt Nitro had 8), and 230 races. These races are going to be set in New Zealand and Japan. This game will also make use of the TouchDrive technology from Asphalt 9. This allows you to play with just one hand using swipes on the screen while the game handles the acceleration.
One of the best features is how Asphalt Nitro 2 is going to be small-sized and compatible with low-end devices. This means everyone can enjoy it.
Overall, the game looks promising. While we don’t have a release date yet, the game should be opening up to more regions soon since it’s already in soft launch in some locations (We do not have any confirmations on the regions yet). Gameloft has worked on quite a few racing games which became instant hits. They’ll probably succeed in delivering yet another thrilling experience to players.
