According to BMW, the car has a range of more than 600 kilometers after the WLTP test cycle. The total output of the BMW iX should be 370 kilowatts and thus around 500 horsepower. However, the data only apply to the current state of development. That can of course change before the car hits the market. Incidentally, the BMW iX weighs 2.5 tons.



How big the car’s battery will be and what the BMW iX will cost is not yet known. However, it is estimated that the price will be around 100,000 euros. That is definitely an amount for which buyers can expect new standards. This is probably how BMW’s Chief Development Officer Frank Weber sees it: “He has more computing power for data processing, more powerful sensors than the latest vehicles in our current portfolio, is 5G-capable, will receive new and improved automated driving and parking functions and uses the powerful fifth generation of ours electric drive. ” It remains to be seen whether the BMW iX will advance the mobility transition in Munich.
