Not a real chipset

Like the A300, the X300 is not a real chipset. All I / O connections come from the combination processor and are identical between the two DeskMini models: three USB 3.2 Gen 1 (5 GBit / s, formerly USB 3.0), including one type -C port with charging function, one USB 2.0, Gigabit Ethernet, HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort 1.4, D-Sub, audio jack and DC connection for the external 120 watt power supply. Internally, users can install two PCI Express SSDs in the form of M.2 cards, two SATA 6G data carriers (2.5 inches) and two DDR4 SO-DIMMs. The case also remains almost the same with a volume of 1.92 liters – only the front is designed differently. The CPU cooler must not be more than 46 mm high, so that AMD’s boxed versions like the Wraith Stealth will not fit without modifications. In the price comparison, only the DeskMini A300 is represented from just under 130 euros. ASRock supplies the case including the mainboard and a 120 watt power supply.
