With the Deskmini X300, ASRock has launched an adapted version of the DeskMini A300. This differs in the name-giving additional chip, which initializes the combined processor used: In contrast to the A300, the X300 enables all overclocking functions in the UEFI BIOS and in AMD’s Ryzen master tool.
When using a Ryzen 2000G, Athlon 3000G (Raven Ridge), Ryzen 3000G (Picasso) or Ryzen 4000G (Renoir) with the AM4 CPU socket, users can overclock the CPU cores and the integrated Vega graphics unit. In addition, ASRocks DeskMini X300 Increase efficiency through undervolting. With the DeskMini A300, only the RAM clock and timing can be set – nothing can be turned on the CPU and GPU clock frequencies.

The case also remains almost the same with a volume of 1.92 liters – only the front is designed differently. The CPU cooler must not be more than 46 mm high, so that AMD’s boxed versions like the Wraith Stealth will not fit without modifications.
In the price comparison, only the DeskMini A300 is represented from just under 130 euros. ASRock supplies the case including the mainboard and a 120 watt power supply. The combined processor, data carrier and RAM must be purchased separately by the buyer.
