Tencent and Garena have teamed up for the Arena of Valour International Championship, where 14 teams from around the world will compete to win the World Championship title with a prize pool of $1 million.

The international tournament will be held from November 27th to December 19th. This date holds a special place for Arena of Valor as the tournament will mark the 5th anniversary. On October 12th, 2016, it had its soft launch in Taiwan. From 2017 it has gained popularity and has started hosting competitions all around the world. The prize pool of $1 million will be the largest among all Arena of Valor competitions held to date. The event will be held virtually due to Covid-19. Arena of Valor International Championship viewers are promised a mesmerizing virtual experience and the biggest broadcasting platform to keep them more engaged and entertained. 14 teams will qualify from all different regions. - Garena Challenge Series (GCS) – From the Taiwanese league, three teams will qualify
- Arena of Glory (AOG) – From the Vietnamese League, three teams will qualify
- ROV Pro League (RPL) – From the Thailand league, three teams will qualify
- AOV Star league (ASL) – From Indonesia League, only one team will qualify
- Malaysia, Singapore, and the Philippines – Only one team will qualify
- Japan, China, Korea – One team from each country will qualify
- Group stage – November 27th – December 5th
- Quarterfinals – December 9 -December 12
- Semi-fina l- December 17th – December 18th
- Final – December 19th.
