WB JEXPO 2020 Exam Cancelled: As per the official notification, WB JEXPO 2020 Exam has been cancelled by the West Bengal State Council of Technical and Vocational Education and Skill Development (WEBSCTE). The decision to cancel JEXPO and VOCLET 2020 exam has been taken by the council due to the prevailing situation due to COVID-19 pandemic. In the absence of WB VOCLET 2020 Exam, admission to diploma courses across polytechnic colleges in the state would be offered on the basis of Merit List. To confirm the development, the Council has released a detailed notification which provides all the necessary information about the decision. WBJEXPO / VOCLET 2020 Application Dates Extended

Moreover, to enable candidates who might not have completed their application process for WBJEXPO / VOCLET 2020 exam, the council has also decided to reopen the application process. Candidates, who had not applied for admission to diploma courses until now, can register themselves until 31st August 2020 at webscte.co.in. However, the application process has been opened only for those candidates who have not applied yet, candidates who have registered for WB JEXPO 2020 or WB VOCLET 2020 exam do not need to re-register themselves for the entrance exam again.

About JEXPO Exam 2020

West Bengal JEXPO is an offline entrance test that is held by the West Bengal State Council of Technical and Vocational Education and Skill Development (WEBSCTE). The council holds JEXPO 2020 exam as a screening mechanism to shortlist students for admission to engineering, technology and architecture courses in various self-financed polytechnics across the state of West Bengal. However,  as reported earlier, for 2020 session, the entrance exam has been cancelled and instead admission will be granted on the basis of merit positions.
