Vodafone CableMax: Gigabit tariff for 39.99 ?? ?? with instant bonus!

Under the succinct name “CableMax 1000” (formerly “GigaCable Max”) there was top speed at a budget price for a limited time. Anyone who hesitated at the time now has a second chance. Vodafone CableMax: You need to know that

  • High-speed internet: The CableMax 1000 tariff delivers up to 1,000 Mbit / s in the download, i.e. gigabit speed. The upload rate is a maximum of 50 Mbit / s.
  • Constant price: Vodafone charges 39.99 euros per month during the two-year term. The provision fee is omitted, as is the flat-rate shipping fee. Thanks to the instant bonus (140 euros), the average price per month even drops to 33.99 euros.

Vodafone CableMax 1000 in detail

Technically, the CableMax tariff and the always available “Red Internet & Phone 1000 Cable” are the same (but only in branches during the campaign, not online). Means: Both come with one Internet flat as well as a landline connection included Telephone flat rate in all German landlines. There are no differences in the speed either: 1,000 Mbit / s in the download and 50 Mbit / s in the upload are on the data sheet. The latter is included permanently 39.99 euros per month, the term is two years. For comparison: The Red Internet & Phone 1000 Cable costs 19.99 euros for the first six months and 49.99 euros for the remaining 18 months. This results in an average monthly price of 42.49 euros. If you compare the prices of the CableMax 500 and the identical Red Internet & Phone 500 Cable, you can see that the regular tariff with an average monthly price of 38.74 euros is even a bit cheaper than the limited-time offer “CableMax 500”. The competition is more expensive: Telekom currently charges 53.56 euros per month for its fastest VDSL (MagentaZuhause XL with up to 250 Mbit / s), regional cable providers such as NetCologne and Pyur charge around 80 euros and 86 euros per month, respectively their gigabit tariffs.

In principle, the same conclusion applies as with the first CableMax campaign in spring 2020. The price is hot and unrivaled. However, this time the price difference to their own tariff offer is no longer as great as with the first surcharge, with the CableMax 500 tariff users even pay around 1 euro per month on top. By the way, Vodafone CableMax 1000 is noticeably more attractive via Verivox.
