Peacemaker: Everything we know about this The Suicide Squad spinoff coming to HBO Max

With The Suicide Squad already out, it’s nearly time for Peacemaker – the DC spin-off series about the violently peace-obsessed antihero, played by John Cena, is set to arrive on HBO Max early next year (although we don’t have a specific release date just yet). There are a fair few things we do know, though, especially now that filming on the show has wrapped – we’ve got the lowdown on who’s playing who, for example, as well as some photos from the set.

Although plot details are being kept tightly under wraps, we’ve compiled all the quotes we’ve been able to find from various reports and interviews with director James Gunn to piece together what we might be able to expect. There isn’t a trailer yet, but some footage has been released, and we’ve also got a description of a teaser shown to the press. And that’s just the start of it – keep reading to find out everything we know so far about the Peacemaker TV show

There’s no firm arrival date just yet, but we do at least have a release window for when the series will land on HBO Max: January 2022. Peacemaker has already wrapped filming, so it seems we won’t have to worry too much about COVID-induced delays, either.
