Maharashtra State Board Of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) is the state board. The board has established under the provision act of 1965. Maharashtra Board conducts the secondary (class 10th) and Higher Secondary (class 12th) examinations annually. There are total divisions of the boards in Pune, Mumbai, Aurangabad, Nasik, Kolhapur, Amravati, Latur, Nagpur, and Ratnagiri. More than 14 lakh students have appeared for the examinations. Apart from this Maharashtra board conducts the examinations two times a year. One as the main examination and the other as supplementary examinations.
