As per the objective criterion released by BSE Odisha, the result for class X students has been prepared as follows. The determination of Odisha results 2021 is broadly divided into 4 determinants.
- Each subject will have a total of 100 marks.
- The assessment is done based on student’s performance in class 9 (40 per cent) and performance in Class-10th practice tests (60 per cent).
- As per the scheme released, 30 per cent weightage is assigned for the two highest marks secured by a student in all subjects.
- In case, a candidate did not appear for the practice test, then 100 per cent weightage to marks secured subject wise in the class-9th exam (in both half-yearly and annual) will be considered.
- If a student has appeared for only one practice test, then the weightage of the class 9 examination will be 70 per cent.
- Furthermore, school’s 4-year (2017-20) academic performance in board exams will also be taken into consideration,
