The character of Swami was portrayed by Manjunath Nayaker, who was famous by the name of Master Manjunath. Besides playing one of the most loved characters on screen, Manjunath also played the character of the young version of Vijay Dinanath Chauhan in the Agneepath starring Amitabh Bachchan and has also worked in many Kannada movies.
Manjunath Nayaker is now in his thirties and is currently living in his home at Bangalore. Narrating his story to a journalist, Manjunath said:
“Post films, I finished my education, and like every other Bangalorean I too got into IT. But I am a people’s man, couldn’t do a 9 to 5 job so I joined another firm where I worked for 14 years.
Talking about his family, he said:
“Today I am happily married and have a 5-year-old son and now I work for myself as a consultant in Public Relations.”
