A health department official said that 349 people have died due to the disease in the state in the last 24 hours. So far, the death toll due to this deadly virus has increased to 21,434 in the state.

The official said that 34,425 patients became healthy in the state on Saturday and so far 15,44,982 patients have been cured while 6,05,494 patients are undergoing treatment.

In Karnataka, with the examination of 1,18,345 samples on Saturday, 2,77,66,478 samples have been tested in the state so far.

Meanwhile, Jammu and Kashmir saw 3,677 new cases of corona virus infection on Saturday, taking the total number of people infected in the state to 2,40,467, while 63 more patients died due to infection, the death toll in the union territory increased. It became 3,090. This information was given in a medical bulletin.

Accordingly, 51,475 patients are currently undergoing treatment in Jammu and Kashmir. Also, 1,85,902 patients have been infection free so far.

At the same time, total cases of infection increased to 4,90,755 after 6,867 new cases of corona virus infection were reported in Punjab on Saturday, while the death toll rose to 11,693 due to the death of 217 people due to this deadly virus.

According to the Bulletin of the Health Department, 8,125 patients were cured in Punjab on Saturday, with which 4,01,273 people have been cured so far in the state while 77,789 patients are undergoing treatment.

A total of 81,40,404 samples have been tested in Punjab so far.
