AP EAMCET 2020, Other State CET Exam Dates Announced: As per the latest update, the Andhra Pradesh Govt has formally announced the dates for AP EAMCET 2020 as well as other state-level CET 2020 exams. As per the revised dates AP EAMCET 2020, AP ECET 2020, AP ICET 2020 and AP EDCET and AP LAWCET 2020 exam would be held in Sept 2020 as per media reports. According to a report published by a leading media agency, the state government today announced the revised schedule for various Common Entrance Tests that are held by APSCHE to screen students for admission to various professional and higher education courses. Going by the exam dates announced by the AP Govt, the State CETs, including AP EAMCET 2020 exam is scheduled to be held in Sept – Oct 2020.

According to the details shared in the media report, the AP EAMCET 2020 i.e. Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Entrance exam, is scheduled to be held from 17th to 25th September 2020. On similar lines AP ECET 2020 Exam will be held on 14th Sept, whereas ICET 2020 exam would be held on 10th and 11th September 2020. TS EDCET and TS LAWCET 2020 entrance exams are scheduled to be held on 1st October 2020.

Exams Postponed due to COVID-19 pandemic

Like all other national-level and state-level entrance exams, the AP CET 2020 exams have also been postponed and delayed this year owing to the COVID-19 pandemic. As per their regular schedule, the exams were to be held in April – May 2020, but are now being held in July 2020. Currently, as the number of COVID-19 cases across the country are still rising consistently, it is expected that the exam would be held amid strict COVID-19 precautions and conditions. In order to ensure complete safety of students and exam conducting staff, the state government would enforce compulsory wearing of masks, thermal checking of candidates at the exam centre as well as social distancing norms. Detailed guidelines in this regards are expected soon from APSCHE and AP Govt.
